Carved Goose Egg Tea for Two
Little Poodle Puppy and Kitten

$85.99

Created by Kathleen Kendall

I Designed and Created this egg out of a Goose Egg.  Inside is a cute little vintage poodle puppy and kitten in a tea cup and saucer.  The vintage tea cup with the poodle puppy and kitten is made of bone china.  I place this cute little couple in a nice size Goose Egg and surrounded them with flowers, Red Roses made of silk .  The Goose egg was then covered with imported White Venise/Venice Lace which has been dyed with non acidic dyes.  I then randomly placed Swarovski Crystal stones around the centers of the flowers.  Under the tea cup are 3 pink rose buds which sits on top of more Venise/Venice Lace.  Inside the egg it is painted with the palest of blue and then it is dusted with micro crystal glitter. The outside of the egg and lace is dusted lightly with micro crystal glitter.  It sits on a beautiful golden filigree stand.

NOTE:  THE BONE CHINA POODLE PUPPY AND KITTEN IN THE TEA CUP AND SAUCER IN THIS GOOSE EGG ARE VINTAGE AND CAN NOT BE REPRODUCED, UNLESS YOU CAN FINE ANOTHER VINTAGE SET  LIKE THIS, THIS IS CONSIDERED A ONE OF A KIND!

Eggs were buried under foundations of buildings to ward off evil.

Eggs are symbols of life and fertility. Easter eggs symbolize the resurrection and the renewal of life that comes with spring.

Easter eggs planted in vineyards were supposed to guard vines against thunder and hail.

It is an old courting custom to present beautifully decorated eggs to a favored sweetheart or suitor.

Golden eggs symbolize great fortune to recipients.

In days of old, it was said that any egg laid on Friday would cure a stomach ache.
